Gutter Cleaning
Using gutter vacuuming technology from the ground or hand cleaning up close and personal with the aid of access platforms, blocked gutters and downpipes can be cleaned in an emergency, periodically or annually.
Home or commercial building maintenance is very important. Blocked gutters and downpipes can lead to water overflowing and running down brickwork and causing damp to penetrate into the walls creating a lot of disruption and an expensive repair bill.
We have invested recently in a new skyVac™ system to ensure thorough and safe gutter cleaning from the ground without the need for ladders or scaffolding. We can clean your gutters with minimum disruption and fuss. Our system operates at 110v from a petrol generator so no need for an electricity supply to be provided and it can be used remotely, well away from other power sources. Difficult to reach guttering above conservatories and around dormer roofing can be cleaned in minutes using lightweight poles and the powerful wet and dry vacuum cleaner.
A Bluetooth camera mounted at the end of the pole relays pictures to the operator via a monitor on the pole at eye level so we can see the cleaning extent and sometimes we can highlight problems such as repair requirements that can be recorded on SD card for later download and reporting.
We leave no mess. All residues are drained, bagged up and removed from site to our office based composter. This compost is then used by our landlords in their work as landscape gardeners.
For some of our commercial customers, where the use of the skyVac™ is not the ideal solution or the building exceeds the height that our vacuum operates to, our cleaning operatives are IPAF certified for the use of mobile elevated work platforms and this enables them to get very close to the guttering for hand cleaning and jet washing through of blocked downpipes.
