We use two carpet cleaning methods – hot water extraction and Texatherm™
Hot Water Extraction
Hot water extraction or steam cleaning is the process of pumping hot water and cleaning solution under pressure deep into the carpet and immediately extracting it out again with the aid of suction cleaning equipment. All areas are pre-sprayed. The pre-spray starts the process by breaking down the soils and staining within the carpet pile. For stubborn staining, these can be pre-treated with suitable stain removers. The hot water is then added by an operative with a metal cleaning wand and all water soluble staining and soil is removed into a recovery tank. We can add fresheners to the solution which leaves the carpets smelling clean and fresh, often for days after cleaning. Because of the technology used for extraction carpet cleaning today, we are now able to extract more of the moisture so the drying time is now a lot quicker.
All our hot water extraction machines and chemicals are provided by Prochem Europe ™. We operate with their Endeavour machine which gives us the power and performance of a small truck mounted machine but with the flexibility to take it anywhere. We are only ever 8 metres away from our machinery. With an inline heat exchanger, we are able to heat the water as we clean meaning we have the ability to clean carpets in areas where a hot water supply is unavailable. These machines will not leave residues in the carpets that will attract soils.
Texatherm ™
Texatherm ™ is a patented process combining a unique chemical technology with heat, agitation and reaction between two solutions. The process produces a capillary action which safely deep cleans carpets but also delivers all of the benefits normally associated with dry carpet cleaning methods. 200 square metres of carpet can be thoroughly cleaned within an hour without over wetting and eliminating the risk of potential damage.
Our customers experience super-fast drying times, on average just 30 minutes and outstanding results and they can be back on their carpets as we drive away. The system is safe to use on wool carpets and is guaranteed not to stretch, shrink or split seams. The chemicals are environmentally friendly and following the process all carpets are left clean, disinfected and treated with an anti-static coating.
The system generates very little noise, ideal for use in hotels while guests sleep, offices, restaurants, entertainment venues, schools and colleges and communal areas within accommodation blocks, nursing homes and medical facilities.
